This really spread the Kasson-Mantorville defense and it didn't appear they were equipped to stop it. Kasson-Mantorville had the opening kickoff but could not move the ball in their first possession. In the second quarter 5 touchdowns were scored in the final 5:54, 4 in the final 3:57 of the half. There were big plays after big plays literally after in this game. The two teams combined to roll up 984 yards of total offense in the game. Kasson-Mantorville was out of time outs when Solis came onto the field to attempt the 32 yard kick. They converted a fourth down and 8 and a couple third downs before advancing the ball closer to the end zone with successive pass interference calls against the KoMets.
